Homelab Idle
Homelab Idle privacy policy.
Effective October 12, 2026
This policy explains what information the Homelab Idle app for iPhone (“the game”) handles. The game is made by BanditBros Studios LLC, a Maryland limited liability company (“we”, “us”). For this website, see the website privacy notice.
The short version
- You don’t create an account, and we don’t ask for your name, email, location, contacts, or photos.
- Your game progress is saved on your device. We don’t receive it.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
- Ads are optional and only play when you choose to watch one. They are provided by Google AdMob, which collects some device information to show and measure them.
- The game does not use analytics tools or ask permission to track you across other companies’ apps.
Information stored on your device
Your save (your lab, hardware, money, jobs, and progress), your settings, and your cosmetic choices are stored only on your device. Deleting the game deletes this data. We do not collect or back it up.
In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells the game which items your Apple Account owns so it can unlock and restore them. We do not receive your name, email address, or payment information. Apple’s handling of purchases is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob)
Some features let you watch a short video ad in exchange for an in-game reward. Ads only load and play when you choose to watch one.
When an ad is requested, Google AdMob may collect information such as your device’s IP address, device type and operating system version, app identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with the ad. Google uses this to deliver ads, measure them, prevent fraud, and, where permitted, personalize them. The game does not ask for access to your device’s advertising identifier through Apple’s tracking prompt.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the game shows Google’s consent form before your first ad so you can choose how your data is used.

Crash reports
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone’s settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These do not identify you.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
- Don’t watch ads. The whole game can be played without them.
- Reset or limit your advertising preferences in your iPhone’s Settings under Privacy & Security.
- Delete the game to remove all of its data from your device.
- Email us with any privacy request, including access to or deletion of anything you have sent us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
